Water Lilies

Water lilies was a piece performed by Yoshito Ohno and Kazuo Ohno with both Solo and Duo dance performances. After Hijikata’s death in 1986, Yoshito Ohno performed for the first time on stage. Water lilies premiered in 1987 at the “Stuttgart Worldtheater Festival”. After presenting a revival in New York in 1988, the piece was performed all over the world with 87 performances including a 1997 performance in Kansai at the Osaka Torii Hall.
